Crackling noise of a gramophone BodyPaint, CINEMA 4D March 2006

A friend of mine took a photo of gramophone that I have (stills works btw) and i decided to do a 3d version (detail of needle area)
The modelling is simple, for lighting I used a HDRI and 3 spot lights (1 for shadows). The golden texture was done with BodyPaint. I rendered it with global illumination,ambient occlusion and DOF. C&C are welcome. Thanks
